Islamabad: (Parliament Times)  AJK President Sardar Muhammad Masood Khan has called for third country mediation for peaceful settlement of Kashmir dispute and sought early resumption of India Pakistan dialogue to lessen the suffering of the people of Occupied Kashmir.
Talking to Federal Minister for Housing and Works Muhammad Akram Khan Durrani, the president said Indian government has planned to build Israeli-style settlements to relocate those ex army personnel who had actively played role in killing of innocent Kashmiris. The aim of Indian plan also is to change the demography of Kashmir to turn Muslim Majority into a minority in the Kashmir, he added.
He said that India’s BJP government which is also coalition partner of the puppet government in Srinagar intends to abolish article 370 of Indian constitution that gives special status to Kashmir in Indian constitution. The AJK president sought cooperation of the people of Khyber Pukhtankhawa especially of JUI for Kashmiri peoples struggle for their right to self determination.
Speaking on the occasion, Federal Minister Akram Khan Durrani said entire Pakistan and Parliament of the country is on the back Kashmiri people and Kashmir is on the top of federal government’s priorities. He said people of Jammu and Kashmir had offered supreme sacrifices unprecedent in the history for which they deserve our heartfelt appreciation.
He said his party’s stand on Kashmir is based on principles and it will continue to support the people of Occupied Kashmir in their just struggle. The two leaders also host of other issues mutual interest including efforts of AJK government to establish rule of law and provide good governance to the people of the state.
