SRINAGAR: : Terming the statement of Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti’s as misleading, JKLF leader Barrister Abdul Majid Trumbo on Tuesday said that instead of accepting hard realities of Kashmir issue and people’s uprising, the people in power corridors are spreading lies and distorting the facts.
The people like Mehbooba should in clear terms accept that they ruthlessly killed innocents and blinded kids, Barrister Trumbo said adding that CM is responsible for all killings as she acted as mute spectator and Indian forces went berserk killing and maiming whosoever came in their way.
There was no preparation for as the sentiments of freedom are always there and it is love and passion for freedom movement that people came on roads as a mark of respect for Shaheed Burhan and his associates, he said. He said that conspiracy of the blood bath at such a large scale was planned at state level by those in power and then executed by their henchmen here in the streets of valley.
She should come with an explanation as why her forces ransacked houses and why pellets were showered on school going children and peaceful protestors. Barrister said freedom sentiments are in our genes and pro-freedom people and leaders are striving for a cause.
People follow freedom movement wholeheartedly and without any provocation from any quarter. Condemning the attack on Muslims of Kathua by the goons of a community, barrister said that they on pretext or the other are hell bent to eliminate Muslims and they want to avenge Muslims for no fault of there.
