ISLAMABAD : (Parliament Times)  Responding to the PPP leaders’ remarks on the occasion of Benazir Bhutto’s ninth death anniversary, leaders of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) stated that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari should first look at his father before speaking about corruption.

“Sindh might slip out of their hands,” they added.

Minister of State Minister for Information Marriyum Aurangzeb paid tributes to martyred chairperson of Pakistan Peoples Party Benazir Bhutto for her unprecedented sacrifices for restoration of democracy in the country.

Talking to media, she said that entire nation is proud of her for waging a fight for democracy. However, the minister said the kind of political activity that took place on her death anniversary was very inappropriate.

She said people of Pakistan have rejected politics of sit-ins and long march and people will vote in the next elections on basis of performance.

State Minister for Water & Power Abid Sher Ali said the opposition parties should sit along with the government to discuss legislation if they are serious about eliminating corruption.

Imran Khan must start accountability from his aides and PPP should eliminate corruption from its home first, he added.

“Bilawal should have looked at his father first before raising anti-government and anti-corruption slogans,” Abid Sher Ali remarked.

However, the minister welcomed Bilawal and Asif Zardari’s decision to step into parliamentary politics.

Speaking to media, PML-N leader Talal Chaudhry revealed that his party is reviewing Pakistan Peoples Party’s four demands, but few of them could be implemented.

“Bilawal Bhutto failed to bring change in Sindh. The province might slip out of their hands,” he taunted.

Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousaf said that Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz will welcome Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Asif Ali Zardari’s decision to contest the by-election.

Talking to news persons in Rawalpindi, he said decision of the Pakistan People’s Party leadership to contest the election will strengthen the democracy.
