LAHORE : Pakistan judo contingent has reached Tokoy (Japan) to take part in the Judo Grand Slam being played from Friday.

The party comprises three judokas and two officials, said a spokesman of Pakistan Judo Federation here on Thursday.

Nadeem Akram, Qaisar khan and Wajahat Sarwar will represent the country in grand judo event being participated by 41 countries of the world amid competition of 287 martial art players.

Zarif Ahmed is the coach and Col. Junaid Alam is the team official.

Following is the programme of Pak judokas bouts against their respective rivals: Nadeem 73kg weight category will clash with Chinese Taipei’s Judoka LEE, FengMao, Qaisar will face Philippines’s Judoka Nakano, kodo in 81Kg while Wajahat Sarwar will compete against Mongolian Judoka Dashdulam, Ishdorj, world’s 65 ranker in 100kg weight Category.
