Muzaffarabad: The ruling PML-N nominees for two vacant seats of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Council have been elected. According to results announced by Azad Jammu and Kashmir Election Commission, Sardar Abdul Khaliq Wasi and Muhammad Siddique Chaudhry of PML-N elected by securing 20 and 18 votes respectively.

The voting for the elections of two council seats was held in the Lodging Hall of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly. The PPP nominee Mehboob Hussain Chaudhry got three votes while Muslim Conference and PTI joint candidate bagged six votes. The AJK CEC issued notification of the success of Sardar Abdul Khali Wasi and Chaudhry Muhammad Siddiq on Thursday evening.
