Muzaffarabad: Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider has said India is committing gross human rights violations in occupied Kashmir and the entire population in the held valley is living under extended curfew for four month.
While talking to a delegation of Lahore High Court Bar Association led by Rana Zia Abdul Rehman,here today the Prime Minister condemned the massive human rights violations in occupied Kashmir and reaffirmed the commitment of the AJK government to utilize its full energies and resources for the liberation of the occupied Jammu &Kashmir and assured the people of Indian occupied Kashmir(IOK) that they will never find themselves alone in their struggle for right to self-determination.
Prime minister also lauded the services of lawyers’ community for the stability of democratic system and supremacy of constitution in the country. He said that the commitment of lawyers for the protection of democracy and democratic system is proof of their determination. He said that lawyers’ community has given numerous sacrifices for restoration of judiciary. He said that provision of justice to the common man at his doorstep is a big challenge and expressed the hope that the lawyers will continue to play their active role for ensuring justice. The Prime Minister said that the role of lawyers’ community is a paramount importance in introducing reforms in the system of provision of justice.
