LAHORE : Pakistan team is likely to get visas next week to participate in upcoming Junior Hockey World Cup, starting from December 8 this year in India.

According to sources, training camp arranged for players is continued at Johar Town Hockey Stadium.

Head Coach Tahir Zaman has said that the team will depart for India on December 4. He said that players’ morale has been boosted up due to the permission of the government.

As many as 16 teams will be participating in the event that will last for 11 days.

The teams included in Group A are Argentina, Australia, Austria and Korea whereas Pakistan, Holland, Belgium and Egypt have been listed in Group B.

Germany, Japan, New Zealand and Spain were placed in Group C while Group D consisted of Canada, England, India and South Africa.

The possible players for junior Hockey World Cup are Ali Raza, Muneeb-ur-Rehman, Hafiz Ali Umair, Atif Mushtaq, Hassan Anwar, Mubashar Ali, Zahid Ullah, Abu Bakr Mahmood, Faizan, Junaid Kamal, M Usman, Tazeem-ul-Hassan, M Adnan, Immad Shakeel, Shaan Irshad, Azfar Yaqoob, M Dilbar, M Attiq Arshad, Bilal Qadar, Mohsin Sabir, Rana Sohail, Sami Ullah, M Rizwan, M Naveed, Fahad Ullah Khan and Umar Hamidi.
