Muzaffarabad: Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Raja Farooq Haider Khan has said that provision of medical care facilities to masses living in remote and far-flung areas of the state is one of the top priorities of his government.

He expressed these views while inquiring after the health of patients admitted in Combined Military Hospital Muzaffarabad on Friday.

AJK Prime Minister said that concrete measures are being taken to ensure the availability of life saving drugs in the emergencies of the government hospitals.

He said that allocated budget for medicines would also be increased in the government run hospitals in Azad Kashmir.

AJK Prime Minister took a round of all the wards of the hospital and asked the patients about the medical facilities being provided by the CMH Muzaffarabad.

Member Legislative Assembly Dr. Mustafa Bashir, Commandant CMH Muzaffarabad Brigadier Fayyaz Akhtar Chaudhary and other were also present on the occasion.

He regretted that in the past projects worth millions of rupees were announced that had no direct bearing on the common man.  He said it is incumbent upon rulers to spend money on welfare of the people especially the disadvantaged ones.
