Muzaffarabad: The AJK President Sardar Muhammad Masood Khan has said that visit of President of Pakistan Mamnoon Hussain to Muzaffarabad and his address to joint session of AJK Legislative Assembly and Kashmir Council will sent a positive message to the people of Occupied Kashmir struggling for their internationally recognized right to self determination.

In a statement issued here on Friday, he welcomed President of Pakistan Mamnoon Hussain on his arrival in state’s capital and said that his visit will boost the morale of Kashmiris facing worst ever state terrorism in Indian occupied Kashmir.

Sardar Masood Khan particularly thanked government of Pakistan for highlighting Kashmir issue in its true perceptive at international fora and expressing solidarity with the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

Earlier President of Pakistan Mamnoon Hussain was warmly received at helipad on his arrival at Muzaffarabad. President Sardar Muhammad Masood Khan, Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan, Speaker AJK Legislative Assembly, Shah Ghulam Qadir, senior Minister, Chaudhry Tariq Farooq, Chief Secretary Sikandar Sultan Raja, Inspector General Police, Bashir Memon and other high officials of the state government were present on the occasion. The President of Pakistan will address the joint session of AJK Legislative Assembly and Azad Jammu and Kashmir Council on Saturday (today) at 11 am.
