Muzaffarabad: Ashura, the 10th of Muharram ul Haram will be observed all over Azad Jammu and Kashmir as elsewhere in the country tomorrow with due solemnity and reverence to commemorate the supreme sacrifices rendered by Imam Aali Muqam Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S), his family and companions at Maidan-e-Karbala to the cause of Islam and upholding the truthfulness.
On this occasion various Taazia, Alam and Zuljinnah processions will be taken out from different Imam Bargahs at all the district headquarters of the State. In Muzaffarabad, the state capital main Taazia, Alam and Zuljinnah procession will be taken out from Markazi ImamBargah Pir Ilam Shah Bukhari.
It will terminate at the same Imam bargah after passing through its traditional routes. Ulema, Scholars and Zakreen at various vintage points in their speeches will highlight the philosophy of martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Aali Maqam Hazrat Imam Hussain(A.S) at Maidan-e-Karbala. Later Majlis-e-Sham-e-Ghareeban will be held in the Markazi Imam Bargah Muzaffarabad in the evening.
The administration has made elaborate security arrangements in and around the city particularly on the route of the procession to meet any eventuality and law enforcing agencies have been put on high alert to ensure peaceful mourning procession.
