Islamabad: AJK President Sardar Muhammad Masood Khan has held meeting with Chairman Parliamentary Kashmir Committee Moulana Fazal ur Rehman and discussed with him prevailing situation in occupied Kashmir, gross violation of human rights by Indian forces and China-Pakistan Economic Corridor. The president told the chairman parliamentary committee that India is trampling all its moral and legal responsibilities with disdain in occupied Kashmir and it is need of the time to launch a diplomatic campaign against India to expose it globally and to foil it’s nefarious designs towards Pakistan.

We should take Modi’s threats to isolate Pakistan seriously and should accelerate our efforts, thje president emphasized. Both the leaders highly appreciated prime minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif for sending special representative to important capitals of the world, holding all parties parliamentary conference, convening of joint session of parliament and adopting unanimous resolution on Kashmir.

President Masood described the steps taken by Pakistan in recent days as major breakthrough at policy level. Speaking on the occasion Maulana Fazal ur Rehman said that government took important initiative on the recommendation of Kashmir committee and assured that more steps would be taken at diplomatic level soon. Fazal expressed his hope that initiative being taken by the government would produce positive results. He further said that all political parties of the country are one and united and there is no ambiguity among them in this regard. The two leaders also discussed various aspects of CPEC and agreed that the project is game changer and people of Gilgit and Baltistan would greatly benefit from it
