ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb has said the government will hold a national parliamentary conference on population soon.
She was addressing the roundtable conference on sustainable development goals for members of Gilgit-Baltistan legislative assembly in Islamabad on Friday.
She said organizing the population conference after the recent census is of great importance as it is duty of the legislators and policy makers to look into the matter of population rise.
She said that the country is moving towards democratic stability.
Marriyum Aurangzeb strongly condemned the Kasur incident and said that it is responsibility of legislators to stop such incidents.
