KARACHI: Three people including former President Asif Ali Zardari’s manager have been picked up. The accomplices should be presented in court within the next 24 hours, said Opposition Leader Khursheed Shah on Saturday.The Pakistan Peoples Party leader while speaking to the media said that arrested people include Zardari’s manager Ghulam Qadir Marri and Nawab Leghari.“If you want to arrest people for being Zardari’s accomplices then you should arrest me too,†he remarked. “I can also tell you a lot.â€After explosion in lahore, Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad was launched, Rangers were given special powers but National Action Plan was not fully implemented, he said, adding “no matter how much the government speaks, no difference comes from just speaking.â€Moreover, he said that the government has made no effort to unite the Muslim community. Progress does not come be just making motorways or orange trains, it requires improving financial conditions of the people, he said.
The rulers promised that they will build motorways and highways in Sindh. Sadly, the highway here was converted into a motorway, he remarked.
The PPP leader mentioned the awaited verdict of Panama case. He said that the verdict is yet to be disclosed and he hopes that God gives departments the strength to make the right decision.
