Srinagar: In occupied Kashmir, the illegally detained Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front, Muhammad Yasin Malik, was taken to a hospital in Srinagar for some important medical tests. He was shifted back to jail after the tests.
The JKLF Chairman is lodged at Srinagar Central Jail along with other Hurriyat leaders including Rameez Raja, Farooq Ahmad Sodagar, Shabbir Ahmad Dar, Mushtaq Ahmad Ajmal, Zahoor Ahmad Butt, Bashir Ahmad Kashmiri and Ghulam Muhammad Dar. Yasin Malik was arrested by the Indian police on Sunday and was lodged at Srinagar Central Jail.
Meanwhile, a JKLF delegation led by Sheikh Muhammad Afzal visited Handwara and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family of a woman, Misra Begum, who was recently martyred by the Indian troops. He was accompanied by Muhammad Afzal Mir, Abdul Majeed and Mushtaq Ahmad. Speaking on the occasion, Sheikh Muhammad Afzal strongly condemned the killing.
