Muzaffarabad: (Parliament Times) Pakistan authorities handed over an elderly woman to India on humanitarian grounds at Chakoti Ori Aman Bridge connecting both sides of the Line of Control (LoC).
The 50-year-old woman had inadvertently crossed the LoC and came into Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) area on October 20, 2016.
She spoke the language of some unknown state of India. The Pakistani security forces on Wednesday handed her over to Indian authorities on humanitarian grounds, while civil and military officials of both countries were present on the occasion. Earlier, Pakistan had released hundreds of Indian fisherman as a goodwill gesture.
