LAHORE: PML-N president Mian Shahbaz Sharif has said they are not scared of jails adding welcoming Nawaz Sharif is their legal and constitutional right.
We are not scared of jails. According welcome to Nawaz Sharif is our legal and constitutional right?, he said this while talking to a private T V channel here Thursday.
He stated he himself would reach airport along with party workers to welcome Nawaz Sharif. The workers would not cause any damage to government property during reception.
We will welcome Nawaz Sharif in peaceful manner. On the other hand massive arrests of workers are raising question on the transparency of election. I will not sit mute over the arrests of workers?, he announced.
He remarked transparent polls are need of the hour and all parties should be provided level playing field in launching election campaign. Election commission should take notice of PML-N workers arrests, he demanded.
He alleged police want to arrest Hanif Abbasi.
