Islamabad:(Parliament Times) Acting AJK Prime Minister Chaudhry Tariq Farooq has urged Imran Khan to raise voice of oppressed people of Kashmir and focus on real issues of the country instead of hurling speculative accusations on the democratically elected Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his family.
Addressing a news Conference in Islamabad on Thursday people of Kashmir firmly believe that economically stable and democratically stable Pakistan is only guarantee to early success of their struggle for right to self determination.
Flanked by members of his cabinet, the Prime Minister gave credit of PML-N electoral victory in AJK to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and said Pakistan made unprecedented political and economic progress under his dynamic leadership.
Saying that Nawaz Sharif and democracy as inseparable, AJK acting Prime Minister said Kashmiris will never accept conspiracies against the democracy and elected government of Pakistan and advised Imran Khan to utilize his energies for Kashmiri peoples’ struggle for their right to self determination instead of destabilizing Pakistan and hampering its progress.
He said people of Jammu and Kashmir love Prime Minister Nawa Sharif for his unwavering stance on Kashmir issue and putting the country on the path of sustainable development. Commenting on the federal government’s policy on Gilgit Baltistan, Chaudhry Tariq Farooq said people of Kashmir have complete trust on the leadership of Prime minister Nawaz Sharif and he will take the decision about the future status of the region in the best interest of Pakistan and Kashmir.
The AJK PM said that Pakistan is moving ahead towards development but some anti progress elements are attempting hard to derail the process of country’s development. He said that people of AJK are well aware about the hatched conspiracies of negative segments of the society.
He highly appreciated Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for making AJK and Gilgit Baltistan part of China Pakistan Economic Corridor. Condemning India for violating United Nations resolutions on Occupied Kashmir for several decades, he said New Delhi is committing grave human rights violations in the held valley but it will not succeed in suppressing voice of unarmed Kashmiri people of their just struggle for self determination.
He said new vistas of development are going to open as a result of China Pakistan Economic Corridor project which is of immense importance for progress of entire region as well.
