FAISALABAD: System has been streamlined to issue business visas and in this connection online system has been upgraded, said Ms. Margaret Adamson High Commissioner of Australia.
She was addressing an awareness session on business visa information in official residence of High Commission. This session was also attended by leading business leaders including Mr. Shabbir Hussain Chawla President Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FCCI), Engineer Sohail Bin Rasheed Chairman FCCI standing committee on Diplomatic Affairs & International Trade Delegations, Ms. Delia Mills first Secretary Australian High Commission, President Bahawalpur Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Mr. Azhar H. Shah Country and Regional Manager Australian Trade & Investment Commission.
Ms. Adamson said that the procedure to issue visa has been linked with the online system to facilitate the business community. She asked the businessman intending to visit Australia to apply through online system so that their applications could be processed immediately.
Earlier President FCCI Mr. Shabbir Hussain Chawla thanked Ms. Adamson for arranging this session on business visas. He hoped that this arrangement will help to further enhance the trade volume between the two countries.
Engineer Sohail Bin Rasheed told that FCCI was arranging a trade delegation for Australia which is expected to proceed to that country by the end of June this year. He hoped that Australian High Commission will support FCCI in making this trade delegation productive, successful and meaningful.
Earlier Ms. Delia Mills gave a detailed presentation on the processing of business visas by the Australian High Commission.
