Lahore:(Parliament Times) Minister for Transport and Rehabilitation Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Nasir Hussain Dar has said that India can not deprive Kashmiris from their basic right of self-determination with the use of power.He made these assertions while talking to media representatives here on Thursday.
He said, “Solution of Kashmir issue is inevitable for the stability of peace in South Asia.”
“Deteriorating occurrences such as killing of civilian youth in Shopian have become routine in Indian occupied Kashmir, the global community should take immediate notice of Indian aggression” AJK Minister reiterated.
During the conversation, Minister added that the use of pellet gun and braid chopping in occupied Kashmir is a challenge for the global community.
“In order to ensure the peace and stability of human rights in the region, the Kashmir problem should be resolved according to the wishes of Kashmiri people” Nasir Hussain Dar echoed.
Speaking on the importance of Women day, Nasir Hussain Dar told that there have been not a single day passed when women in Indian occupied Kashmir haven’t faced Indian armed forces brutalities.
While, on the other hand in AJK, women have equal rights, he said, adding that employment opportunities for women in Azad Kashmir are equal to men.
In response to a question, he said that the state Jammu and Kashmir has never been a part of India.
Nasir Hussein Dar further said that relief packages have been finalized for the victims of ceasefire violations on Control Line.
Moreover, he said, “The compensation of the martyr has been increased from three lacs to 1 million, in addition one lac to eight lacs in case of permanent disability and three lacs compensation is recommended for severe injuries.
