Islamabad: Supreme Court (SC) has disposed of suo motu notice on the matter of giving 4000 plots to its employees by CDA in sector I-8
A 3-member bench of SC presided over by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar took up the suo motto notice pertaining to allotment of plots to 4000 employees by CDA for hearing on Thursday.
CJP inquired during the hearing that what the matter was.
The counsel for CDA told the court that the I-8 sector was allocated for bus and Railway Station in master plan but later these plots were given to the employees under necessity.
Allotment letters were issued on the order of High Court (HC).
The petitioner had filed the petition for taking suo motto notice in this regard after losing his case on merit.
