Rawalpindi: (Parliament Times) A rickshaw driver was crushed to death by a truck within the jurisdiction of Waris Khan Police.
According to media reports, Raja Izram father of the victim lodged a complaint with local police that his son Atif was a rickshaw driver. He said Atif was standing and waiting for commuters at Liaquat Bagh when a speedy truck bearing registration no IDT-1955 driven by Amjad Khan hit with him. As a result he suffered serious injuries and died.
Police have registered a case and started an investigation.
