Srinagar: In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders and organizations have paid glowing tributes to the two youth martyred by Indian troops in Khudwani area of Kulgam district, yesterday.
The joint resistance leadership comprising, Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik in a statement said that India was forcing the Kashmiri youth to opt for armed struggle by pushing them against the wall. The leaders said that the Kashmiris were struggling to secure their inalienable right to self-determination, promised to them by the international community.
Other Hurriyat leaders including Ghulam Muhammad Khan Sopori, Faria Behanji, Yasmeen Raja, Zamrooda Habib, Nahida Nasreen, Bilal Siddiqui, Shabbir Ahmad Dar, Muhammad Iqbal Mir, Muhammad Ahsan Untoo, Imtiaz Ahmad Reshi, Ghulam Nabi War and Muslim League in their separate statements also paid tributes to the Kashmiri martyrs.
The Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front in a statement in Srinagar eulogized the sacrifices of Shahid Ahmad Sheikh, Dawood Ilahi, Sayar Wani, Altaf Ahmad Rathar, Tariq Ahmad Butt and other martyrs.
A JKLF delegation comprising Zahoor Ahmad Butt, Farooq Ajhmad Dar, Syed Nisar Jilani, Muhammad Azeem Zargar, Abdul Aziz, Farooq Ahmad and Muhammad Amin visited Kapwara and expressed solidarity with the families of martyred youth.
On the other hand, mother of martyr, Dawood Ilahi suffered brain hemorrhage in Islamabad district. She has been referred to Soura Medical Complex for treatment. Dawood was killed by troops in Kulgam, yesterday.
