LAHORE: (Parliament Times) Punjab government spokesperson Malik Ahmad Khan on Friday warned Imran Khan to either name the person who offered Rs10 billion bribe of face defamation suit.
In a video leaked to social media websites earlier this week, Imran Khan had claimed that he was offered Rs10 billion through a close aide of Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif to stay quiet on Panama Papers issue. Imran Khan should learn how to respect the verdict of judges. Why he had not uttered the name of the bribe offeror before courtâ€, questioned the Punjab government spokesperson.
On the other hand, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has also demanded proper investigation into Khan’s allegation. Senator Saeed Ghani urged Imran Khan to reveal the name of the man who had offered him Rs10 billion to stay mum over Panama Leaks case as it is not a small amount.
