ISLAMABAD: Preparations across the country are underway to celebrate the 71st Independence Day with traditional zeal and fervor.
Streets, roads and houses are being decorated with national flags, buntings and lights.
The renovation work at Mazar-e-Quaid is also in progress.
People belonging to different walks of life, especially youngsters and kids can be seen decorating their houses and vehicles with flags and other themed products to celebrate Independence Day with traditional national zeal.
A number of taxi and rickshaw drivers have also hoisted the national flag on their vehicles.
Different Independence Day accessories such as printed shirts, embroidered badges and hats have hit the roadside stalls that can be seen in all major markets.
