Muzaffarabad: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has approved Rs 105 for families of recent Indian firing victims at Line of Control in Azad Kashmir.
The Prime Minister approved Rs 39 million for the 39 families of those lost their lives in Indian shelling while 25.6 million for 128 people wounded by Indian shelling. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif also approved Rs 36.5 million for the compensation of damages caused by Indian shelling to the residential houses of the people living along the Line of Control. According to government sources in Muzaffarabad each family of the 39 martyrs of Indian firing will get Rs one million while Rs two lakhs would be provided to each of 128 wounded or maimed by Indian shelling. The Federal government’s would be additional to that of AJK government providing to the affectees of Indian firing, sources said.
Meanwhile AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan expressed his profound gratitude to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for providing a special package to the affectees Indian shelling at LoC. He said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has especial affection to the people of Kashmir and his constant efforts to highlight Kashmir issue at every global forum and help to the people of Azad Kashmir at difficult time is amply reflect his love for Kashmir.   Â
Saying that Indian government of Prime Minister Modi is targeting innocent people living along the Line of Control out of sheer frustration, AJK Prime Minister said Indian tactics bullying Kashmiris would not work as they determined to continue their struggle till complete liberation of their motherland from Indian. Raja Farooq Haider Khan strongly condemned the Indian shelling at LoC and expressed his grief over the loss of precious lives in AJK. Â
