Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday denounced the recent violence by Indian security forces in occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
At least 14 people were killed in the fresh act of state terrorism by the occupation forces in different areas, including Kulgam and Rajouri area, Kashmir.
The prime minister in a tweet against the Indian aggression said, “Strongly condemn the new cycle of killings of innocent Kashmiris in IOK by Indian security forces”.
“It is time India realised it must move to resolve the Kashmir dispute through dialogue in accordance with the UN SC resolutions & the wishes of the Kashmiri people,” he added.
Nine youth were killed and more than fifty injured in Laroo area of Kulgam district by the Indian forces.
Three of them were martyred when the troops blasted a house. The rest were killed in troops’ firing and in an explosion while people were removing the debris of the blasted house. The incident followed a cordon and joint search operation in the district.
Two youth were martyred in Rajouri area of Jammu region on Sunday.
