Jehlum Valley: (S. A Haidri) Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir (PM AJK) while expressing his concerns over the Supreme Court verdict against Nawaz Sharif said “We have serious reservations on the decisions”.
Addressing a workers convention in Usmani House Ghari Dupatta here on Friday, the PM said that masses cannot be distanced from their beloved leader Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif. The convention was presided by PML-N AJK chapter governing body member Muhammad Afsar Usmani, while Member Legislative Assembly Dr. Mustafa Bashir, District President PML-N Raja Muhammad Arif, Ch. Manzoor, Major (R) Tariq Awan and others also addressed the occasion.
While addressing the seminar, PM AJK said, “Decisions should not be given in any pressure or any personal clash, but it should always be according to constitution and law.” He reiterated that youth should prepare themselves for upcoming municipal elections. “These elections will devolve authority to lower level”, he said. He said, “I am blessed that I have a great team of party workers and leaders with me, worker’s sincerity and love is my asset.”
PM AJK said that the beautiful Jhelum valley would be converted into a tourism hub. He said that the government will fulfill all the responsibilities to provide basic amenities to the masses’
Prime Minister also announced to make Ghari Dupatta as Tehsil saying that it has a historic background of being a gateway to Kashmir valley.
Referring to Indian atrocities on Line of Control, Prime Minister stated that Indian army wants to spread fear among the local people by targeting civilians, ambulances, passenger vans, school buses and children, but people living on LOC are not afraid of Indian Army and stand back to back with Pak Army.
“While on other hand, Pak Army in response of ceasefire violations by Indian Army have never targeted the civilian population” he added. He said that incumbent government is endeavoring to provide basic facilities to masses living along LOC in addition of making community bunkers for their safety.
Prime Minister on the occasion took stern notice on public complaints and directed the concerned authorities to resolve all issues being faced by the people of Ghari Dupatta before long.
