Lahore: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has banned Nasir Jamshed for a year over his role in the PSL spot-fixing scandal.
According to media reports, the verdict of the case against Jamshed was announced by the Anti-Corruption Unit of the PCB.
The tribunal has banned Jamshed over not informing the board regarding the spot-fixing which was taking place in the tournament. He can file an appeal against PCB’s decision.
Earlier, PCB contacted the people in close circle of cricketer Nasir Jamshed and details regarding the activities of the cricketer have been garnered and his contacts in London and Pakistan were tracked down.
