NEW YORK: Pakistan will present resolutions on regional disarmament, conventional arms control in the First Committee of the United Nations which deals with disarmament and international security.
Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the World Body in New York Dr.Maleeha Lodhi in a tweet said three resolutions will be moved on regional disarmament, conventional arms control at regional and sub-regional level as well as confidence building measures in regional and sub-regional context.
She said, earlier last week Pakistan’s resolution on assuring non-nuclear weapon states against the use or threat of use of nuclear weapons by a solid majority votes 122 is a testimony to Pakistan’s commitment to promoting global security.
