ISLAMABAD: Foreign Office has strongly condemned India’s deliberate targeting of innocent civilians along the Line of Control.
In a statement, Foreign Office Spokesman Nafees Zakaria said a woman has been martyred and two other civilian were injured due to unprovoked firing by the Indian army from across the Line of Control in Kotli Sector.
The spokesman said such belligerent acts by India pose a grave threat to regional peace and security.
He expressed solidarity with the bereaved families and those injured.
The spokesperson said such acts of belligerence, belie India’s own statements and violate UN Charter and relevant human rights and humanitarian laws.
