Islamabad: (Parliament Times) In line with directive of the State Minister for Communications the National Highway Authority has planted 38850 plants along its network, which included 10000 saplings at Hakla-D.I.Khan Motorway, 13600 plants along Pindi Bhattian-Gojra, Lahore-Islamabad Motorways, 4000 saplings at Hazara Motorway and 11250 plants along Lahore-Abdul Hakeem Motorway.
This activity will continue by first week of December 2018. Chairman NHA Mr. Jawwad Rafique Malik is taking personal interest in plantation campaign. NHA has already planted 7000 plants under “Plant for Pakistan” programme.
Moreover, 18000 saplings will be planted phase wise along National Highways & Motorways.
