Islamabad: (Parliament Times) Acting Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir Tariq Farooq has said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is taking keen interest in development of liberated area and his efforts gave a new strength to the Kashmir liberation movement.
He was addressing PML-N workers convention at Bara Kahu in Islamabad on Sunday. Tariq Farooq said Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has highlighted the Kashmir issue at the international fora and United Nations in the best way. He said the people of Azad Kashmir fully support Nawaz Sharif’s initiatives and vision for development in the country and the liberated state.
Speaking on the occasion, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Asif Kirmani said that the promises made with the people of Azad Kashmir during the election will be fulfilled. Earlier Chaudhry Tariq Faroo on Sunday visited the shrine of Baba Peer-e- Shah Ghazir and the spiritual leader and author of Saiful Maluk, Hazarat Mian Muhammad Bakhsh. He laid floral wreaths on the graves of both the saints and offered prayers for early success of Kashmir liberation struggle, integrity and prosperity of Pakistan.
Accompanied by Minister for Youth, Culture and Mangla dam Affairs Chaudhry Muhammad Saeed, the acting Prime Minister also visited the residences of late journalist, Sufi Allah dita Khaksar, former AJK Minister Mirza Mushtaq, and Chaudhry Muhammad Sabir and offered fateha for the departed souls. Talking to the son of Sufi Allah Dita Khaksar, Prime Minister paid tributes to the late Allah Dita Khaksar and he was not only a prominent journalist of high integrity but was also strong voice for the rights of common people. The Prime Minister expressed his deep sympathies with the family of Sufi Allah Dita Khaksar and prayed that Almighty Allah may grant peace to the soul of late Allah Dita Khaksar.
