QUETTA: Inter-Services Public Relations has issued further details of intelligence base operation at Mustung in Balochistan.
According to details, security forces killed twelve hardcore terrorists including two suicide bombers during the operation that was conducted from 1st to 3rd of this month.
The successful operation foiled any attempts of establishing any direct or indirect ISIS organized infrastructure in Balochistan.
There were reports of ten to 15 terrorists of a banned outfit Lashrake-Jhangivi Al-Almi hiding in caves near Mastung making efforts for communication with ISIS (Daish) and intending to facilitate establishment of ISIS foothold in Balochistan.
5 security forces personnel including two officers also got injured in the operation.
The forces destroyed IED making facility inside cave and recovered large cache of arms and ammunition.
Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa has appreciated effort of Southern Command, Intelligence Agencies and the troops for this successful operation.
