London: Kashmir Voice International (KVI) in a meeting held in London paid rich tributes to the martyrs who laid their precious lives for the rights of Kashmiris on 13th July 1931.
“They were great freedom fighters who made the supreme sacrifice for the freedom, honour and dignity of our people. These noble souls were the true heroes then, now and forever. Our nation stands indebted to them for all the times to come”, the KVI leaders said while addressing the participants of the meeting.
They said that 13th July 1931 was a revolutionary day for Kashmir. “Kashmiris have since maintained the tradition of paying rich tributes to the great souls who offered sacrifices and laid down a path which inspired our generations to fight for Freedom undauntedly–a goal laid down in 9131 and remains unachieved till now”, the said.
“It is high time, given the level of sacrifices, that all the Kashmiris, inside or around the world stand united, irrespective of their views and invest their efforts to achieve their goal of freedom”, the observed.
