Srinagar: In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Syed Ali Gillani, has reiterated that the Kashmiris will continue their struggle till they achieved their cherished goal of freedom from Indian bondage.
Syed Ali Gillani, who is under continued house arrest since 2010, in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the puppet of New Delhi had unleashed a reign of terror against innocent civilians in the territory.
The APHC Chairman was not allowed by the puppet regime to offer Juma prayers even in the holy month of Ramadan and the Indian police had locked his residence from outside when he tried to come out and move to Hazratbal to offer the congregational prayers, yesterday.
He said that by placing curbs, denying religious obligations and detaining resistance leaders, the authorities were denying the people the right to stage peaceful protests.
Syed Ali Gillani said that the sacrifices of the Kashmiri youth would not go waste and nobody would be allowed to play with their sacrifices. “We will never surrender or succumb to pressure but will pursue our cherished mission till it is taken to its logical conclusion,” he said.
Asking the people to remain cautious against the nefarious designs of India’s local stooges in the territory, he reiterated his appeal for boycott of so-called elections and urged the masses to stay away from all government-sponsored functions.
