Karachi: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI)chief Senator Sirajul Haq has announced to take out a million march on 17th December in Karachi against the United States move to recognize Jursalem as Israeli capital.
He announced this on Thursday while addressing a protest demonstration, staged by the JI Karachi women wing at New MA Jinnah Road.
A large number of women from all walks of life participated in the demostration and expressed their solidarity with the people of Palestine. The protester were carrying placards and banners inscribed with the slogans against the US and Israel.
Addressing the charged protesters, the JI Ameer demanded of the coalition forces of Muslim countries to describe their position on the issue. He said that the matter of Baitul Moqadas is not a sentimental issue but indeed tens of thousands of Muslims across the world are ready to scrifice even their lives for the freedom of the first Qibla of Muslim Umma.
He said that Karachi is the heart of the Umma and more than a million of citizens will take to the street on 17th December to convay a message to their Palestinian brothers that the entire Muslims across the world are with them. He criticized the US President for his controversial decision and said that Donald Trump would prove himself the Gorbachev of the US.
The JI chief further said that not only the global community but the people of US also rejected the decision.He said that the Muslim Umma needs another Salahuddin Ayubi who would liberate the Qibla e Awal of Muslims.
He said Muslims have been living in the holy Land for more than 4,000 years.
He stressed the need of a global action plan against the decision and urged the Muslim Umma to boycott the US on all levels. He also suggested a worldwide financial boycott of the US and it’s product.
He also criticized the rulers of Muslim countries who are unable to come up with drastic measures against the decision and the oppersser powers.
