Srinagar: Six Kashmiris have been shot martyred during state terrorism by the Indian forces in the Shopian District of Indian occupied Kashmir.
According to media reports the Indian forces fired at a car near an army camp in Shopian martyring six Kashmiris. The situation was tense in the area and complete strike was observed in the valley following the incident.
On the martyrdom of the youths the strike was observed on the appeals of Syed Ali Gilani, Mir Waiz Omar Farooq and Mohammad Yasin Malik and Hurriat leadership.
Officials to stop the protests have taken tough measures in areas of Srinagar, Islamabad and Pulwama districts. In South Kashmir internet service has also been suspended. Indian police have started search operation at two places in Rajuari district. Due to strike Public Service Commission has postponed the examinations.
