Muzaffarabad: (Parliament Times) The AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan has said that Indian forces brutal tactics cannot suppress the ongoing freedom struggle and Kashmiris will get freedom soon.
Talking to various public delectation at Prime Minister Secretariat in Muzaffarabad he said that Indian’s aggressive designs at Line Control has put the regional peace at stake.He said that state government is taking immediate measures to provide basic necessities of life to the people residing along the Line of Control.
He appealed to United Nations and other international human rights organizations to take notice of the killings of innocent people including women and children by Indian shelling at Line of Control.
AJK Prime Minister said that community bankers would be constructed to save the precious lives and properties of the people. He said that communication facilities would be improved to facilitate the people living at the Line of Control.
Raja Farooq Haider Khan said PML-N government in Azad Kashmir came to power with resolve to improve the governance and government had started it from reforming the Public Service Commission and Ehtesab Bureau. Our next step would be improvement in education and the recruitment of teachers through National Testing Service (NTS) would be an important step towards it.
The Prime said that there would be no compromise on administrative and financial reforms in the state. He added that there would be certain criteria for promotion in grade 21 and 22. He said that if present government fails to ensure rule of law and merit no government in future would be able to bring reforms.
He said that party government is fully aware of the expectations of party workers and expressed his resolve that workers would not only be absorbed in discretionary posts but will also get their share in forthcoming local bodies elections.
