Islamabad: The central leader of PTI and Finance Minister-in-waiting Asad Umar stated that it is top most priority of PTI government to bring major reforms in Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).
“To bring major reforms in EBR is included in the top most priority agenda of PTI” he stated this while addressing a reception hosted by Top City One Islamabad here on Thursday.
Regarding the looted money, he stated that to bring back the looted money is included in the government first 100-day agenda. He said that large scale changes have been occurred in the laws of top ranked countries of the world and under such laws third world countries leaders bring their wealth in these countries.
Now countries like UAE, Switzerland and UK are bound to give information to related countries regarding such assets. He said that last Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) had badly failed to get such information in its tenure.
He said that Imran Khan led PTI government is fully aware of housing industry development and in this regard a comprehensive and simple policy would be formulated.
CEO Top City, Director Ghulam Yaseen, Chief Administrative Ghulam Fareed, Sardar Zahid and Ch. Zahid Raffiq were present on the occasion.
However in an interview with a private magazine Asad Umar said that PTI has prepared a comprehensive plan to meet the economic challenges facing the country.
He said that Pakistan’s current economic condition has plummeted to a new low which requires considering all options, including going to International Monetary Fund.
“We are considering this program and after come into power large scale privatization would be done” he added. PTI leader said that nearly 200 companies would get free from government custody.
He said that PTI government will constitute an Economic Council and a Business Advisory Council for resolving economic issues of the country.
Responding a question he stated that total quantum of PIA damages is figured to Rs 406 billion. Responding to a question, he said the circular debts will not soar any further if state-institutions are strengthened.
