Khanewal : At least 11 people including women and children were killed and 21 were injured when a passenger bus collided with a troller on Thursday.
In line with media reports, the bus toppled due to poor visibility on account of the smog.
The bus was on its way from Lahore to Rajanpur when it met with the unfortunate accident in Khanewal.
Among the 21 people injured in the accident, multiple were said to be in critical condition.
The accident occurred at the M4 motorway when the passenger bus rammed into the troller which was parked on the road side .
According to the Motorway Police, seven persons died on the spot when the accident occurred while the rest were rushed to the hospital.
The motorway has been closed for traffic to prevent further accidents from happening.
It is pertinent to mention here that during last week three FC officials were killed and three injured when a speedy troller collided with car in Rajanpur while the truck driver fled from the scene.
Earlier, five other people died in two different road accidents in Shangla and Batghram districts and among the dead three were army men.
