Delegates of senior management course called on Tallat Mehmood Gondal

Rawalpindi: (Parliament Times) A delegation of civil officers of 23rd senior management course called on Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi Tallat Mehmood Gondal. While briefing the delegation about District Rawalpindi, DC said that Rawalpindi district holds a significant positions among other due to its jurisdiction issues with ICT and presence of GHQ here. He said that Rwp city has ranked as 4th largest city in term of population and District Administration is vigilant to provide basic facilities and improve living standards of 5.4 million population of this city. In order to improve the literacy rate and ensure access of quality education to each child, 2434 total institutes (03 Universities, 29 Colleges and 2402 Schools) are functional, he added. DC further shared that in order to provide best medical treatment to our citizens 222 Health facilities, 03 Teaching Hospitals, 06 THQs, 99 BHUs, 08 RHUs, 106 dispensaries and Rawalpindi Institute Of Cardiology are providing facilities. All these institutes are under surveillance and their performance is evaluated regularly by District Administration to ensure provision of quality services to people. While sharing the details of Development Projects, Tallat Mehmood Gondal said that it includes provincial ADPs, Khadim e Punjab Rural roads program, Missing facilities and computer Labs in schools, Dangerous building programs, Khadim e Punjab school program and Khadim e Punjab Saaf Dehat program. Moreover he added that under ADPs a total of 345 schemes worth of 30913.03 million have been initiated in Rwp and most of them are completed while others under progress. DC said that in order to facilitate citizen at their doorsteps, Information Technology has been introduced in various projects including Land Record Management Information System, Android Based Monitoring Services, Citizen Feedback Model, Zimadar Shehri Helpline 0800-2345 and RWMC helpline 1139.
