Rawalpindi: District Education Authority (DEA) has issued the notices to owners of more than 160 unregistered schools in all over the district and directed them to get register their schools besides seeking reply from them within a week’.
As per media reports, from the last 7 years education department has been taking action against unregistered schools. Non registered schools aren’t implementing directives of education department while their education standards are below average too.
The CEO of District Education Department Riaz Ahmed Sohi has issued show cause notices to the schools whose registration period has expired and security measurements are found unsatisfactory including 169 non registered schools. Private schools aren’t abiding by SOP’s of Anti-dengue campaign and they have been directed to take steps to remove irregularities and submit their reply within a week.
The step of sending notices to private schools for getting registered is going to start after many years by education department with motive to maintain government writ in private schools and to ensure compliance by them on education department orders.
The protest by private schools owners against education department Rawalpindi is expected due to large number of show-cause notices were issued to the private schools by CEO Riaz Ahmed Sohi because the owners of these unregistered private schools are not only causing loss to the government treasury but also hiring non qualified staff for profit guzzling .
