RAWALPINDI: Governor Punjab Malik Muhammad Rafique Rajwana has said that the political process should continue in the country unhindered for strengthening of the parliamentary system and democratic tradition. He said the elected public representatives should complete their constitutional term, process of democracy should continue uninterrupted so that healthy democratic traditions are established in the country and the process of national development continues.
He expressed these views while talking to Federal Minister for Capital Administration and Development Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry at Punjab House. Governor Rafique Rajwana said mega development projects completed by PML-N government are exemplary and due to these projects the people are getting modern facilities in various sectors including education, health, communication and potable water. He said internal and external plots need to be foiled for consistence development and public welfare for development of any nation. He said the national unity and promotion of harmony are drastically needed to resolve the challenges the country is facing currently. He said the objective of defence of national solidarity and the development can only be attained by understanding the points of view of each other with patience and tolerance. Political and national affairs were also discussed in the meeting.
Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry briefed the governor about the projects of the CAD Ministry and said the government is making efforts to resolve problems of the masses and for this purpose all-out resources are being utilized. He said the nefarious designs of enemies to create unrest and turmoil will not succeed.
