Badin: Voice of missing persons Sindh, civil society and heirs of missing persons staged protest demonstration and rally against enforced disappearances. The protest rally began from Allah Wala chowk Badin and concluded in front of Badin press club which was led by Asad Iqbal Batt,vice chairman, Human Rights Commission of Pakistan, Amir Azad Panhwar, chairman,bJeay Sindh Qumi Mahaz, Surath Lohar, Deputy Convenor, voice of missing persons, Professor Badar Soomro, Sorhia Sindhi, representitive of Jeay Sindh Tehreek, Saeed Baloch, Salim Jarwar, Tanveer Arejo and others.
The protest participated by huge number of men, women and children. They also paid sit-in for several hours which caused suspension of traffic.
While addressing the gathering Asad Iqbal Batt, Amir Azad Panhwar, Sorath Lohar and others said enforce disappearance of persons was violation of human rights and state law. They said if any one was criminal he should be produced before courts.They said enforce disappearances of persons was creating unrest and panic among the people of Sindh.They said writers, teachers, workers of different parties were disappeared for long.They said such conditions would create deprivation and disappointment among the masses.They demanded from International Human Rights Commission and United Nations Organization (UNO) to play role for early release of missing persons of Sindh province.
