Nothing in this world is permanent except change. Pakistan as a developing nation is no different to this phenomena of change. From the last two decades, a rapid change in all aspects of lives has been seen and it is dramatic. As women, I am very much positive that our society is choosing the right direction. With the emergence and adoption of modern technologies like smartphones and internet connected devices, my country is flourishing and it is a wonderful adoption. Our society is becoming more educated and aware. Almost every individual gets easy access to the internet and an endless supply of knowledge and learning from technological advancements. My people are more groomed and I see positive embracement of technology which is leading to a positive impact on their daily lives. It is no doubt that technology has made a lot of impact on research and we are enhancing as learners and achievers in every aspect of life. Some of the world’s economists believe that Pakistan will fall in world’s thirty biggest economies in a few years’ time. On the other hand, I see foreign investments coming in our country in the shape and name of CPEC (China Pakistan economic corridor) which might have a negative impact on our manufacturing industry but it just might leave a healthy impact on our overall economy. Administration of justice is an important pillar of any society and how proactive our judiciary is nowadays gives me a lot of surprise. Rule of law is that everyone is equal in the eye of law and fair trail and justice is the right of every individual. Injustice creates unrest in any society but I see some justice being prevailed. Fortunately, our country is grabbing the big fishes which were untouchables from the creation of Pakistan. As women; I can say that countries cannot be built without the role of women in it. In all developed countries, a women is empowered to work side by side with man as a strong individual. Today, we have well-known names like Arifa Karim, the youngest Microsoft engineer, and Saima Baig, the first and only Pakistani woman to climb Everest and the Seven Summits Our society is reluctant to provide such freedom to women but with the passage of time, education and equal opportunities are making a new and a changed Pakistan for the women and this is the main reason for our prosperity. World is recognizing our women and their abilities. My nation’s women are participating in Olympics, Cricket, Swimming and bringing a lot of medals for the pride of this nation. I also must say that that role of women in our politics has been very vital and in every ministry, women are speaking up for their rights and representing their people. Looking into all Positives and negatives of our country, I am very much optimistic to see a much changed and better Pakistan with the social and economic reforms, along with better administration from the new government model (Parliament, Judiciary and Army).
