MIRPUR (AJK): The Cabinet Development Committee (CDC) of Azad Jammu & Kashmir government Wednesday reviewed Rs.1.17 billion worth six development projects related to Health, Physical Planning & Housing, Foreign Aided development and Communication & Works sectors in the State.
The 7th meeting of the approving forum of Azad Kashmir Cabinet Development Committee for the financial year 2017-18 was held in the State’s metropolis on Wednesday under the chairmanship of the AJK Prime Minister.
The meeting was attended among others by the Cabinet Members, Chief Secretary, Secretary Finance, Additional Chief Secretary (Dev.) of AJK government, representatives of the Government of Pakistan, Secretaries of the respective departments and other officers of the P&D, GO AJ&K.
The significant projects that were brought under discussion include Establishment of Tehsil Head Quarter (THQ) Hospital Mong, District Sudhnuti, Water Supply Scheme Thorar, District Poonch, Restoration of Flood Protection Structures along Basan Nullah at Basan Sharif, District Haveli and Nullah Mahl at Bani Pasari, District Bagh under AJK-DCRIP, Construction, Improvement, Metaling and Blacktopping of Link Roads of District Mirpur, Poonch University to Chotagalla Road and Up-gradation and Reconditioning of Trarkahl-Balouch Road, District Sudhnuti.
