Muzaffarabad: Kashmiris on both sides of Line of Control, in Pakistan and all over the world will observe black day on Thursday (today) to express their outrage against Indian occupation of their land.
It was on this day in 1947 that Indian forces invaded Kashmir by landing its forces in Srinagar violating the partition plan of subcontinent. Protest rallies, procession and public meetings will be held at all Districts and Tehsil headquarters of Azad Jammu and Kashmir to mark the day. In the State capital Muzaffarabad a protest demonstration would be held under the auspices of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Cell.
The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Raja Farooq Haider Khan, leaders of All Parties Coordination Council, Hurriyat Conference and representatives of social, political and lawyers organizations would address the function. Later the participants of the demonstration would hold a rally that would march up to UN Observer Mission to hand over a protest memorandum calling upon the world body to take serious notice of state terrorism in occupied Kashmir and play its due role for  resolutions Kashmir Issue.
The AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan in his message on Black Day said that by observing 27th October as Black Day, Kashmiris would give a strong message to world that they would never accept Indian rule on their motherland. AJK Premier said that on October 27, Kashmiris would expose the real face of so called democratic country India and would urge international community to take stock of Indian aggressive designs against Pakistan and Kashmiris. All the three stations of AK Radio will air special programmes to mark the day.
