LAHORE : Shahid Goga’s horse Big Bravo secured a convincing victory in Pakistan Derby, the biggest race of the year.
According to details, Pakistan Derby was fifth race of the day, and undoubtedly the most attractive of the year. Five horses were scheduled to participate in the race but one could not compete due to sickness. Sources revealed that the fifth horse was suffering from flu.
Big Bravo came first in the race followed by Big Bash and Warrior Soul who were second and third respectively.
Earlier, Chan Makhnaan remained victorious in first race of the day, Her Majesty came second and Golden Man was third. Chenab Cup, the second race, was won by Collateral. Minister of Bhakkar remained second and Moon Star third.
Catlleya won Steward Cup in which Blazing Heart and Sultan Niaz Baig remained second and third respectively. Sultan One won National Breeders Cup, Gujrat One came second and Big Faith remained third.
Sixth race of the day was Queen Elizabeth race in which Chief of Bhakkar triumphed. Big Confidence secured second position and Jabbar Prince third. Gujrat Seven won the seventh race. Admiral Walk came second and Socrates was third in it. Shanay Niaz Baig won the eighth race in which Chamkani remained second and National Time was third.
