Muzaffarabad: (Parliament Times) Preparations to celebrate the 71 Independence Day of Pakistan are at full swing in across the AJK .
Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan on Saturday,paid visit to the different parts of city to review the preparations arrangements that has been made to celebrate the big National Day with full zeal.Prime Minister shopped national Flag and visited various other shopping stalls ,citizens got excited when they found the Prime Minister among themselves.
While talking to media and citizens,the AJK Premier said the Green Flag of the Pakistan is the most popular from Srinagar to Muzaffarabad.Two lac Kashmiris have sacrificed their lives for the honour and dignity of this Flag.
Quaid e Azam gifted us Pakistan,this great country is the most sacred after Madina for the people of Jammu and Kashmir.Pakistani Flag is our national flag our relationship with it is unbreakable.
Meanwhile the AJK government has issued the notification regarding celebrations programs across the State.The central function will be take place at Burhan Wani Shaheed Chowk where the Prime Minister will laid down the foundation stone of the Burhan Wani’s memorial.
Muzaffarabad: The Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider Khan on Saturday appreciated the efforts of the Special Communication Organisation (SCO) for providing communication services in the hard and far flung areas of the AJK particularly the provision of unsuspended phone and cellular services during the natural disasters.
Talking to the Director General of SCO Maj.Gen.Ali Farhan who called on him at Prime Minister House,the AJK Prime Minister said,government would extend its full cooperation to the SCO to provide 3 G and 4G internet services in AJ&K and the process of issuing licenses in this regard would be started soon.He appreciated the role of SCO administration and personals for their restless efforts to provide quality services of telecommunications.
Prime Minister said that provision of phone services in Neelum and Haveli districts was positive development and government would continued its cooperation in this regard.He said the development was impossible without utilising the modern technologies.More steps would be taken for the provision of more facilities in this regard,he said.
“ More jobs opportunities could be created by the positive use of the internet,” he emphasized.
Earlier the director general SCO briefed the AJK premier on different projects of his organisation being carried out in AJ&K including the internet,mobile phone and DSL services in far flung areas.Sector Commander AJK Col.Muhammad Maqbool Ahmad was also present on the occasion.
