Muzaffarabad: (Parliament Times) While issuing special directives for the resettlement of the Kohala hydropower Project (KHP) affectees, the Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Raja Farooq Haider Khan here on Tuesday directed the relevant authorities to setup facilitation centers at their offices to avoid any inconvenience.
Addressing the meeting of management committee of affectees of KHP, the Prime Minister directed the departments concerned to settle the issues of the affectees with out any inconveniences to them. The meeting was attended by Member Assembly Raja Abdul Qayyum, Additional Chief Secretary Syed Asif Shah, Senior Member Board of Revenue Fayyaz Ali Abbasi, Secretary Local Government Dr. Mahmood ul Hasan, Secretary Forests Syed Zahoor ul Gillani, Secretary Agriculture Shehla Waqar, Director General Environment, Commissioner Rehabilitation Tehzeeb ul Nisa whereas members of local action committee were present on the occasion.
Stressing the need for providing better facilities to KHP affectees Khan asked for setting up facilitation centers in the offices of Senior Member of Board of Revenue, Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner for settling the issues of the affectees. He emphasized on both the parties to develop better coordination between them for the settlement of the issues.
For reducing the environmental pollution in Muzaffarabad the Prime Minister ordered for the preparation of the feasibility report for construction of lakes on Neelum and Jehlum rivers immediately.

The Prime Minister was briefed by Revenue Department and the AJK Environment Protection Agency regarding the agreement signed with the Construction company of the Power Project.
Meanwhile the Prime Minister has directed to department of Planning and Development to Issue amended notification according to which 1% of developmental budget was allocated for advertisements through Directorate General Public Relations.
Meanwhile, a delegation of senior journalists led by Affaq Shah called on Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider and expressed concerns over the non implementation of the orders of the Prime Minister for 1% allocation of developmental budget for the advertisements.
The Prime Minister took the prompt action and directed to Planning and Development department to issue amended notification.
